Six Pines Baking is a Hyde Park, Cincinnati-based cottage baking business. All of our products are vegan, and several are also gluten free. Our goals are to create vegan versions of traditional baked goods and to explore more complex, modern flavors.
How we began
Our founder, Robert, started Six Pines Baking after noting a lack of local baked goods that he and his friends with food restrictions could enjoy. What started as baking for close friends soon expanded to a wider market in Cincinnati. The company’s name comes from the farm where our founder’s grandmother grew up, but also reenforces the plant-based nature of our baking. Six Pines now sells hundreds of baked goods per week, and we’re proud to provide neighbors and customers with baked goods that range the spectrum from traditional favorites to exciting novelties, designed to be enjoyed by everyone.
What we offer
If you’re looking for something familiar, grab one of our pumpkin coffee cakes or iced lemon loaf slices. If your tastes are more eclectic, try our pistachio rose cake or jam-filled ube muffin. Or you may catch our seasonal offerings, which have included matcha lavender tarts and olive and za’atar focaccia. While our lineup is curated, we are open to collaborating with our stockists to provide unique creations.
